The Swiss painter Sophie de Niederhausern (also spelt Sophie de Niederhäusern) was the sister of the sculptor Auguste de Niederhäusern (known as Rodo).
On the reverse of this Alpine painting gem is the estate stamp with the inscription “ŒUVRE ORIGINAL DE S. de Niederhäusern Succession de Niederhäusern”.
