freelance painter; artistic development in exchange with Mac Zimmermann and Heinz Trökes

occupation with batik; learns from the artist Richard Dölker

         

1956
Foundation of “Saalfelder Künstlergruppe”, together with Gerda Körting and Gerhard Dölz; for a while the painter Paul Schilling also collaborates

1968
“Saalfelder Künstlergruppe” is dissolved; Karl Jüttner works in his own studio, together with Manfred Urbach (apprentice) and Renate Jüttner (wife)

1970
experiments with raku firing and development of a kiln for it

1979
son Stefan joins Jüttners ceramic studio

2006
died in Saalfeld, Germany
