Surface: turquoise, red, white, gray and black glaze, partially fine craquelure in the glaze, partially luster glaze

Manufacture period: between 1925 and 1940

Condition: slight loss of glaze and shard at the foot and small crackline in the glaze and the shard, which runs form the neck to the shoulder

Signature: T on H

Details:
Thrown ceramic vase by the ceramist Josef Hehl. The running glaze (partially luster effect) has a fine craquelure. Glazes with similarly beautiful colors are assigned to the period from 1925 to 1940 (see the catalog of the association Stadtkultur Xanten e.V. and the regional museum Xanten) [1].
