Details:
Thrown vase by Jean Pointu. The ceramist Jean Pointu had probably been in contact with Jean-Joseph Carriès [1], who also worked in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye. Jean Carriès as well is known for his impressive running glazes. Jean Pointu is counted as a part of the École de Carriès.
