Saalfeld Artists’ Group

In 1956, the potters Gerhard Dölz, Gerda Körting and Karl Jüttner founded the “Saalfeld Artists’ Group” (Saalfelder Künstlergruppe) – also known as the “Artists’ Group Saalfeld” (Künstlergruppe Saalfeld) or “Saalfeld Group” (Saalfelder Gruppe); the group was disbanded in 1968.

In the current exhibition of 100 GDR ceramics by the ceramists Gerhard Dölz, Gerda Körting and Karl Jüttner, you can see not only vases but also bottles, jugs and plates.
