The kintsugi method actually originated for repairing ceramics and porcelain, but its philosophical principles are now also used for healing mental wounds within the framework of a kintsugi psychology. There is more than one kintsugi book that draws on this kintsugi psychology, and we present some of these kintsugi books here.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kintsugi Psychology<\/h2>\n

Kintsugi psychology, which is covered in many life-help books, takes from the original kintsugi philosophy, for example, the principle of seeing something beautiful even in imperfection (turning away from perfectionism). In addition, kintsugi psychology emphasises that healing wounds takes time, which also stems from the kintsugi method of repairing<\/a> ceramics and porcelain, as such repairs can take weeks, months or even years, depending on the complexity of the damage and the repair procedure chosen.<\/p>\n

Kintsugi books as life help<\/h2>\n

There is now a large market for books that use Kintsugi psychology to write life-help books, in some cases Kintsugi psychology is also the subject of novels.
