Ceramics by ceramicist Beate Kuhn will be on display at the Keramion Ceramics Museum from May 15, 2022 to August 14, 2022 as part of the exhibition “Beate Kuhn \u2013 immer wieder gerne!” (“Beate Kuhn – always welcome!”).<\/strong><\/div>\n

Over 60 Beate Kuhn ceramics<\/h2>\n

In total, more than 60 ceramics by Beate Kuhn are on display in the Keramion exhibition “Beate Kuhn – always welcome!”, created in the period between 1964 and 2015. The Kuhn ceramics shown are in particular those that belong to the Keramion’s collection. <\/p>\n

The works of Beate Kuhn (* 1927, \u2020 2015) are also highly appreciated outside Germany. Kuhn’s sculptures are characterized by her very own style, in which she assembles individual elements – often in the form of spoons – to create an abstract sculpture. The play of colors in Kuhn’s ceramics is also typical; many objects are colorful.<\/p>\n

Kuhn made many cats<\/h2>\n

In addition to abstract figures, Beate Kuhn has also produced, among other things, very concrete animal sculptures, and these were primarily cats. Kuhn also applied her spoon style to many of these cat ceramics. <\/p>\n

The Beate Kuhn exhibition is on display at the Keramion Ceramics Museum<\/a> in the town of Frechen, near Cologne, until August 14, 2022: <\/p>\n
